TOP STYLE INSPIRATION FROM #SONAMKISHAADI

#SonamKiShaadi was trending everywhere, with every social media portal reporting every minute from the three-day festivities, we decided to jump on the bandwagon. Though it might be little too late to be the part of trending hashtag #EverydayPhenomenal but it’s never late to report the best fashion trends that you guys can take inspiration from.

Inarguably Indian menswear is just leaps and bound more fabulous than any western wear. This three-day grand wedding affair proved the same. The male celebrities were seen sporting some of the best Indian menswear styles and designs and we can not stop gushing over the looks.
Want some inspiration on how to look fabulously phenomenal at your next event?
If you want to, you know what to do…
Keep on reading guys!

The top four styles that we think every Indian man can carry and look spectacular are:
1. THE DRAPED STYLE
Take inspiration from: Karan Johar
He chose to wear a white draped kurta from Shantanu & Nikhil for day one. The style is simple yet has an edge. The draped detailing and the embellishments add an element of interest. Unlike Karan’s regular look it’s not loud but elegant and very unique, something we believe will look good on everyone.

2. ASYMMETRICAL HEM
Take inspiration from: Akshay Kumar & Shahid Kapoor
Plain black Kurta with golden buttons, pretty basic you may think but as you move your eyes to the hem, it’s a surprise. Or if you want a glam-look, take cues from Shahid Kapoor and go for a more fancy colour/fabric.
For someone who is looking for something simple and classic but still wants to stand out, this style is a great pick.

3. LAYERED STYLE
Take inspiration from: Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor
This the most interesting style and definitely our favourite. If you are someone who likes to experiment, this style should be on your mind for the next function. Of all three we are totally loving what Varun Dhawan is wearing. It is edgy and a total eye catcher!

4. FLORALS
Take inspiration from: Karan Johar
Karan was on a roll. His style game during the three-day extravaganza was top-notch.
This is simple, quirky and eye catchy at the same time and of course very trendy. You can never go wrong with florals (at least for this season, where florals are leading the fashion trends).
